wallpaper-calculator.com publishes free calculators and guides for estimating wallpaper, murals, wall panels, and wainscoting. Using the site means you accept these terms.

Estimates are estimates

Every figure the calculators produce depends on what you enter and on assumptions stated beside the result: the roll size, the pattern match and its repeat, the trim, and the waste allowance. The site cannot see your walls or your label. Confirm dimensions against the roll label, allow for the condition of the room, and order the whole job from one dye lot. We are not liable for material bought on the strength of an estimate, for shortfalls, surplus, or for the cost of installation.

Not professional advice

Guides describe common trade practice in the United States and, where noted, Europe. They are not a substitute for a manufacturer's hanging instructions, which take precedence whenever they differ from anything written here, or for a decorator who has seen the room.

Nothing is for sale

The site sells no products, carries no advertising, and has no commercial relationship with any wallpaper maker or retailer named in the guides. Names of retailers and brands appear only to describe how their published estimating methods differ.

Using the content

You may quote the guides and results with attribution and a link to the page. You may not republish whole pages, present the calculators as your own, or scrape the site to build a competing tool. The code that runs the calculators is ours. The arithmetic it performs is not, and you are welcome to do it by hand.

Availability and changes

The site is provided as it is, without a guarantee of uptime. We may change the calculators, their defaults, or these terms at any time. The date at the top of this page is the record of the last change.
